How to repair a pull cord on a Power Devil 3.50?

Hello,

My Power Devils pull cord broke and, to repair it, we removed the top cap of the lawnmower. The cord is now fixed but when I start the mower the cord is not rewinding.

Any idea on how to fix this problem?

take the cap off again, see how the inner wheel spins around, like the the number wheel on a old phone, i think you have the pull cord feed from the wrong side of the spinning wheel, feed it from other side,
