how do I change the headlight bulb in my sj125 2012?

traveling to work, at night, my headlight went, first bipped then full beam. searched for "how-to" and found, approach from underneath, remove rubber and "unit turns and pulls out". Not in this puppy!

How do I remove the fitting, if it does turn, clock or anti clockwise. What part do you hold to turn it and with how much force. Are Chinese hands smaller than European's, I can't see it (because of the cowling) or apeer to get much leverage.
