Mend Russell Hobbs 2200 Steam Glide

How can I fix my Russell Hobbs Steam Glide 2200?

Iron was working when I last used it. Sole plate still provides heat but the steam part has stopped working. The cables are cold from base to iron and I read somewhere that it could be the pump that has gone. Base makes the usual sound when priming but obviously it is not heating so no steam. Can you advise please?
