Keeps beeping?

Hello we defrosted our Samsung S20 side by side fridge freezer but when we turn it on the door alarm keeps going off with the door symbol showing even though it's closed and it beeps down from 7 to -1 then starts again, I have checked the seal but the door is about 10mm lower than the freezer door, could this be the problem thanks keith
