Mend Grandfather Clock Chimes

uneven weights on grandfather clock?

I pulled up two of the weights too high on my grandfather clock and don't know how to get them to come down. The middle one is okay and the clock runs but the chimes don't work since the weight is stuck. Can anybody tell me what to do?
