Mac 3516 fuel screen in carb?

I was reading about my Chainsaw online and wondering how I can tell if mine has a screen that might need cleaning. I replaced all the fuel lines which had disintegrated some in the fuel tank do not know how long it has been like that so do not know how much crud would of gone thru to the carb. It was staving for fuel (for obvious reasons) but would not idle either way and still does not before I go adjusting the fuel mix and idle screws I want to make sure there is know screen in carb I need to clean first ?
