Stannah 260 Siena overshooting charger contacts?

My Stannah 260 Siena curved track power chair overshoots the battery charging contacts at the top of the stairs and the yellow charging light goes off. I have to back the chair up slightly to get the yellow light to come back on so that the battery will charge. Is there any way to adjust the chair travel stop point?
