Finding a Repair Engineer?

I have a Hotpoint 9404 twin-tub. I love it to bits but it needs some maintenance or repair. I have worn myself out telephoning engineers in my locale, only to be told ''we don't repair those''.

I am prepared to deliver it to a willing engineer, if only I could find one in England. Please advise.
