Mend Making Noise 20

The hairdryer brush is rotating slowly and making a squeaky noise?

The hairdryer works ok, but after about 20 seconds makes a squeaky noise. At this time the rotational speed is only about 30% of the usual speed.
This was not the case when new about 2 years ago.
How can this be repaired?

You do not say the make or model - but no matter.

It probably needs a good clean - over time stuff (skin flakes and stray hairs) get sucked into it and gum up the works - give it a service.
