Steamer continuously blows steam when plugged in. The button doesn't work?

took the steamer apart, cleaned it, put it back together and now I can't stop the steam. It doesn't matter if I press the button in the back or not the steam keeps coming out until I unplug it. At least I got steam . . . but if anyone knows how to fix this problem - let me know. I made sure too that the second spring is under the button where it should be too. So it's not that.
