restarting gas hob?

I've not come across any gas hobs that need resetting or have a reset procedure, so I would suspect that it is not powered up. Try and locate the power cable that runs to hob and see what it is plugged into and check that's switched on properly. I've had customers with same problem and it turned out to be as simple as items in kitchen cupboard underneath hob had been pushed back onto socket, pressed the power switch and turned it off.. worth a check. The power cut may have been coincidental.
