how to reattach the trigger mechanism on a reclining chair?

the trigger mechanism came undone on our non brand name reclining chair. my challenge is trying to determine how to reinstall the five pieces (1-hex head bolt, 1-nut, 1-coil spring, 1- plastic spacer (approx 1/2"thick)that slips onto the bolt, and 1-plate with 3 holes that are for the cable, 1-hole closer to the hole for the connecting bolt. the opposite end of the plate is bent at 45 degrees. I have looked for markings to determine the location to reinstall the trigger mechanism.
