Mend Ford 6000CD Sound Speakers Checked

Ford Transit Connect 6000CD?

No sound to RHS speakers, have checked the balance settings. On removing the unit there is a yellow wire dangling with no obvious port? The wire has MUTE printed on it.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Yellow wire is the mute wire used in a phone kit. Most likely the speaker is faulty
