I have a Dualit JKT43 kettle, which boils water perfectly well, other than the switch not staying down unless held. The light no longer works which may or may not be related.
Unsure how to optimally fault find without knowing what correct readings across various parts is meant to be?
I fixed my Dualit classic kettle by replacing the switch unit - needs a bit of soldering but easy done. The switch is an Otter A1. about 7 quid from Aliexpress.

Just checked the Dualit website spares pages. Nothing at all available for any Dualit kettle if any type.

There's no "readings across various parts". It'll likely be a thermo switch (think bimetal strip based device) that's degraded. Just buy a new kettle. Simpler and a lot safer
