how to keep the display on vauxhall vectra?

hi all
just like to say went to kenwood and brought the adapter above on the link and all works fine got the display up and all that so once again thanks for all your help good site and well worth checking back to when in the stuck nice one

Good for you Craig.

The remote adaptor for my system was/is different to the one you point to. I have a Kenwood Mask (KRC-859R) and is not listed as one that works with the Vauxhall display unfortunately. I thought all Kenwoods would have been the same, but I guess yours is newer than mine and things have improved. Mine is around 4 to 5 years old now.

I fitted a Kenwood to my Vectra (I even had the adaptor to work off the steering wheel buttons) and had the same problem. I spoke to Kenwood and they advised me that there was no way around this due to the way the Kenwood is connected. You will therefore have to put up with a blank display - sorry.
