How can I fix my Panasonic CT-36HL42 TV that will not turn on?

Panasonic CT-36HL42 will not turn on. Press the power button and nothing happens. Tried unplugging, but didn't help. Checked connections and everything seems okay. Others have reported this problem, but I don't see any answers.

Did you ever resolve the power-on issue with your CT-36HL42? The reason I ask is I also own this TV and have, as of two days ago, the same problem as you.
