How can I fix or replace my letter box on upvc door?
The postman has cracked and broken a length of the upvc surround on my letter box.He was trying to force a fat parcel through.The plate falls off and i can't work out how to take the letter box off or find replacement for it as it was a upvc door installed about 7 years ago.It looks a mess and is a bit draughty!
Any ideas?
Lift your inner flap up and burrow through the brushes until you find 2 screws located about 13mm from either side. Unscew these and the 2 halves will pull apart. Refitting is a reversal of this, but its easier with a friend helping. Kev (klplastics@graffiti.net)
