Venturer Portable DVD player does not load and play discs?

Same exact problem with mine. Check out the Venturer.com website for this answer - but use a CD lens cleaner on the tip of a Q-Tip. Clean the lens, wait 30 minutes (to dry) and try a DVD you know works. This worked on mine. Otherwise, it's broken, and out of the warranty period, no doubt. Good luck.
