how to repair script error?

My computer hates me. I have gone into internet explorer, then to advanced I have done everything you have mentioned to fix my script error problem. I disabled script error debugging, and unchecked the notification area, since I have window's 98SE, it must not have any other place's to disable debugging, as I am sending you this, script error just popped-up, can you help me, or should I get someone to pray for the healing of my computer????? I have an older model compaq computer
