leaking water into passanger front footwell, what causes this?

thanks bob, i have tried that , even watering it down with a hose pipe, nothing its realy gettin on me nerves now lol so i think its time the old girl found a new home...

I had a similar problem with my Old Sierra which is a cheaper Mondeo and it was the water drain holes in the side catch points under the bonnet. Thats one place nobody looks at for maintenance just wonder where the water comes from when it rains. Mind you it might not be in your case... trial and error......You could watch with bonnet open where the water goes that's running down the bonnet if you don't mind getting wet to find the cause.
