Hi there I have a vauxhall astra with a car 300 blaupunkt fitted .. its only a radio cassette player but affording another at this time is not possible .. when we got the car the fuse was out rendering the radio / horn and various lights useless .. when we put it back in the panel above the radio reads safe ,... I have no code for it and no idea how to enter it ... apart from the AS whilst turning on way which does nothing but beep and read safe mode again .. could someone please tell me how I can reset this or even turn the darned thing off ..

It's likely a visit to your local Vauxhall dealer (if the radio was an original item) will get you the code for it. BUT - you'll probably have to pay for the code!!!
