Mend Diplomatic APM 8512 Cold Hot Fill

Diplomatic cold or hot fill?

I have inherited a diplomatic integrated washing machine number APM 8512 when I moved house, it only takes in cold water although it has pipes to the hot and cold supply, the previous owner couldn't answer my question - is this a cold water fill only washing machine or is there a problem? I takes over two hours to do a number 5 wash, how can this be an 'A; rated machine.

it could be that the element is scaled making it take longer to heat water upto required temp. over 2 hrs does seem a lot for an A rated machine. maybe try a descaling product like calgon.
