Tumble dryer, Hoover, TC650 not heating?

The tumble dryer completly stopped heating this week. The filter care button has been on for some time now, but cleaning it thorougly does not make it go out.

There was no smell of buring from the element. My question is will replacing the heating element be of any benefit, or is there another problem (e.g. a sensor stopping it from working).

Any answers would be greatly appreciated :)

I have got exactly the same problem with my Hoover T650 Condenser Dryer not heating. I have had it in bits but am at a stand still now and wondered if you managed to fix yours?
Any help would be appreciated.
