what size cable do i require for a 9.5 kw shower ?
according to the regs i could get away with 6mm cable if the cable is clipped direct . What happens if 90 percent of the cable run is clipped direct and the other 10 percent is enclosed
you have to fit 10mm2 cable on a 9.5 kw with a 45a fuse. you must check your main supply fuse first to check that your not over loading the house. your main supply may not be capable of 9.5kw, 9500 watts is a lot of power. and a double pole isolation switch fitted.
