how do i wire?

I take it the outside light hasa built in sensor.
If so , then run a 1.5mm twin and earth cable from a ceiling rose and out to the position where you want the light to go. Ideally the cable should go straight into the back of the light fitting with no cable exposed.
The cable will be in new colours and brown is Live .Blue neutral and the bare copper is earth that will require earth sleeving.
You will have to connect the new wiring live to the 'loop' at the ceiling rose.
