The indicators and the stereo are not working. All other electrics are ok. What is the most obvious problem. I've checked the fuses. They're ok. The car is a mini city J reg

Sounds like you have an initial problem with the hazard warning switch. If there is no power to that then most likely the power to the stereo is also affected as well as the horn and interior light. I think there is a seperate fuse hidden behind the speedo under the bonnet, an inline one!
