what can i do to get my heater going in my 88 holden camira je?

I have a 1988 holden camira model je and the heater has stopped going, the fan still blows but no hot air. I have replaced the thermostat but this still has not helped

often it is caused by the vac operated heater tap failing....this is located at the back of the engine near the ground check that it has vac and if so replace if no vac then check that the vac pipe on the inlet manifold is on and the pipe is connected to the heater selector switch assembly.if you bypass the tap your heater will be on all the time...often good for winter
