INDESIT DI 620 DISHWASHER NOT WORKING LIGHT 2+4 FLASHING AND FUNNY SMELL?

Hi all,My dishwasher is not working it does a cycle and at the end it isn't drained properly and lights 2 and 4 are flashing.
I have cleaned the fiter out which wasn't really dirty.
I have noticed where the salt goes is full of water is this correct?
There is a slight smell when its on and there is a humming noise sometimes during the cycle
If i leave the machine off of a few minutes then turn it on cycle one it will drain off but then will do cycle and at the end its blocked again with flashing lights again.
Any Ideas???
