HONDA GCV160 BRAVO 5.5 HAS STOPPED PULLING FORWARD!?

I BOUGHT THIS MOWER IN FRANCE AND BOUGHT IT BACK TO UK. IT HAS BEEN FINE UNTIL RECENTLY. IT USED TO PROPEL FORWARD AUTOMATICALLY BUT NOW IT'S STOPPED. IT IS HEAVY WORK PUSHING WITH NO FORWARD THRUST. I HAVE TIGHTENED THE BELT. ANY IDEAS?
