how can I fix the washing machine Ariston Margherita 2000 AL 109X?

My machine doesn't spin during the first minutes of the washing cycle independent on the program I choose. It simply doesn't start spining and sounds like it would start but it doesn't. The only part that works is the final one but with less velocity that usually. My e-mail address is ipp@pcnet.ro
