on start up my golf runs really rough (mainly in cold)
have changed air filter, plugs, leads, ditrib cap, rotor arm as seemed to be running on 3 cylinders (yes really that rough ) but as soon as engine warm runs sweet as a sweet thing ?
could my auto choke be shot ?
is it a carb problem ?
help please !!!!!
Another possibility I have experienced is a badly seating inlet/exhaust valve which improves as the engine warms up and tolerances change due to the heat/expansion
a'lost air'compression test will identify this quickly and easily
Good luck

Please advise why does my car shudder when the clutch pedal is being relased whilst changing gears, it feels as if it does not react to picking up speed despite giving it gas to accelerate following changing gears.
Thank you
