Mend 45A DP Electric Working Light

Problem with 45A DP Switch for \electric Shower?

I had a problem with the old 45A DP switch, so I replaced it. The shower is working fine, however the light on the switch remains on no matter if the switch is in the on or off position. It was my understanding that the light turns off in the off position?

Great, thanks got it working. the wires were the wrong way around.

it should go off double check wiring see if power is still on when switched off. best to check with a meter to see exact what its doing.
