Where do I buy a plastic gear for my Royal Shredder?

I have a Royal PX110MX shredder. It has plastic gears and one is broken. I can not find my receipt and need to get a new gear. Where can one be found? It is inthinkable to run metal gears with plastic. Did they not know it would break!

I am having the same problem and found a phone number on the Royal web site for spare parts. It is 1-800-222-231o.

Yeah I have the same problem with my Royal 1200MX.

Dunno why they designed it by using plastic gear instead of metal. Either its for safety reason or it's a conspiracy to force us to replace our shredder every few years after the warranty has expired.
