HOW DO I ADJUST THE DRIVE BELT, SABRE 1742 GS?

I HAVE A JOHN DEERE SABRE 1742 GS LAWN TRACTOR AND HAVE LOST POWER WHILE DRIVING, HOW DO I ADJUST THE TENSION ON THE DRIVE BELT TO MAKE IT TIGHTER?

Check the transmission support straps that hang from the chassis under the seat just forward of the rear axle. These may have broken from stress. You can order new ones from a JD dealer.
