How can I get my washing machine to start,Hotpoint Aquarius,WD440?

My machine is less than 3 months old,but is being used on a commercial site,it is a Hotpoint Aquarius WD440 and does not do anything,no lights come on even though the plug fuse is OK and cable is undamaged.Power to the socket has been checked and is OK
