hazzard light stay on after ignition turned off?

i have a vectra 2.0 di 1998 (R) The hazzard lights have come on the dashboard and stay on until i either turn on the ignition on or remove the fuse also as the hazzrd lights keep flickering on/off even when u shut the door or move around in the car please advise what is wrong and what needs repairing

Hi,
Try disconnecting the switch and insulating the connectors. If it cures the problem you can say it was that, and replace the switch. If you still get intermittent lights you must be getting voltage to the flasher unit from elsewhere.
