i took the back panel off my washer to see why it wasnt working and found the drive belt on the floor. can someone tell me how to replace the drive belt on a servis washer do you have to adjust the alternator or does the belt just push on.if you have to adjust what looks like an alternator which bolts do you loosen and how tight does it need to be
just put belt back on {motor}-not alternator! and then feed back onto big drum wheel:turning belt and wheel at same time.turn with hand until on. turn several more times to see if comes off again.if comes off again ;adgust by moving 1 notch at a time the belt on motor by spining wheel and pulling belt forward with fingers
