PLEASE PLEASE help me with my pvc door handle?

normally my pvc door handle needs to be pushed up to lock,now d handle spins all the way and doesnt lock but it can be locked from the inside any ideas????

It sounds like your door handle set has broken. The lock should be alright since you say it still locks from the inside.
