Kenmore series 70 will not pump after wash or rinse cycle?

although I required more than removing the washer from the lid trigger for the sensor, the lid sensor was the problem with the washing maching and I appreciate the solution to this problem. Thanks for your help.

tom, i had the same problem with our washing machine.
I AM NOT AN APPLIANCE REPAIRMAN ,BUT
WE FOUND THAT THE SWITCH/LEVER THAT IS DEPRESSED BY THE PIN/POST ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE LID THAT TELLS THE MACHINE THAT THE LID IS CLOSED WASN'T DEPRESSING FAR ENOUGH TO ACTIVATE THE SWITCH.
If I PUSHED DOWN ON THE LID ABOVE THE POST/PIN THAT ACTIVATES THE SWITCH IT WOULD SPIN/DRAIN.
I TOOK THE THICK RUBBER WASHER OFF THE POST ON THE LID AND TRIMMED ABOUT 1/16 OF AN INCH OFF IT. THIS ALLOWED THE POST TO ACTIVATETHE SWITCH. I DID THIS YESTERDAY
AND IT HAS WORKED FINE SINCE. HOPE THIS HELPS
