main medway super the mian burner is firng up without a tap being opened any ideas?

I'm having the same problem except mine is caused by the bolt that holds the diaphragm together with the metal discs each side has snapped in 2 unfortunately I cant find the part number to get a replacement. I spoke to Baxi technical dept and he wasn't much use so any help would be gratefully received.
