Zanussi FL-850 programme selector dial out of synch?
It seems like the inner programme indicating ring has slipped/is slipping out of position in relation to the outer knob, so I never kmow what programme I'm using. Does anybody know to fix this?
i think the g setting is in the 1 o clock position

I had a similar problem on my Zanussi FL 1282. Take the knob off and remove the nut. The plastic part that turns the inner ring with the programme letters has probably lost one or more of the locater lugs. I called a very helpful engineer Ron in Lincs 01778422147. The part was about £9 inc postage.
