Why does my zanussi aquacycle 1000 washer smell "drainy" ?
In spite of cleaning filters, putting washing soda through and a proprietry washing machione cleaner through I still get a strong drainy , stagnant water smell from the appliance. The smell does not come from the drain outlet but specifically from the washer somewhere?
I have this problem as well. I'm pretty sure at this point that there isn't a sufficient water trap in the drain pipe. The instructions state that there must be some kind of loop, but mine's been installed without one.
