My Kenmore Hvy Duty 80 Series Washing Machine Won't Agitate/Spine?
Please help - my Kenmore Heavy Duty 80 Series Washing Machine will fill, drain, but won't agitate or spine.....I am very mechanically inclined and know I can fix it if given directions and guidance....Can anyone help me? Don't want to pay a repairman to come out....
Suspect the "lid closed" switch. Look to see if the pin on the lid is contacting switch housed under the rim. Look to see if the switch itself is OK... two screws will allow you to pull it out to see if the crossarm on the switch is cracked/broken. The switch is an easily found replacement part. You can probably figure out what to do while waiting for the part.
