My tv has lines at the top of the picture. What can I do to make the lines go away?
It is a 35 in Sanyo TV

in the 42 inch sanyo lcd sometimes its just one big black square that covers the entire screen mainly on the left side and darkens the pictures . what should i do?

are they horizontal lines? How many are there? Perhaps retrace lines a problem in the vertical circuit perhaps. You might start by changing the vertical IC.
