How to replace timer on Maytag washer?

Could you email me instructuions on how to replace a timer on a Maytag frontloader washer MOdel #MDE7657BYW. Is it hard to do?

HI Debra, If you go to www.apdepot.com,then bottom right side put in you model number Mde7657byw click go, then on the next screen top right on pull down click Maytag. Control panel 02 will show the timer (7) remove 3 screws on top two in the back. Push in on the off on knob and turn to the left unscrewing the knob. unplug the timer after removeing the rear panel. They don't show the screws holding the time butthey are there. any more questions e-mail me at lonniebabb@hotmail.com

Debra, If you go to AP Depot.com and put in your model number and if you are lucky you can see the diagram on the inst-panel. Under the knob is two screws but draw out the wire plug -ins there have to be right.
