Dishlex Global 300 Rinse Light Flashing?

Our dishwasher has stopped at the rinse cycle, filled with water., the rinse light is contiuously flashing. i have been able to remove the dishes but how do I get rid of the water and reset it so I can use it again. I have tried to clear by holding down the program/clear button, but it keeps going back to rinse flashing?

My inlet water pressure is very high and caused the washer to
stop at the start of the final rinse with no indicator lights flashing. Fixed the problem by restricting the water flow at main dishwasher tap under the sink. The washer now works every time.

Dennis was spot on. I have never seen anything more nauseatingly repulsive in my entire life! And our dishwasher is second hand so I'm feeling a little seedy right now lol. It wasn't difficult to get to following Dennis' instructions and it explains why our dishes haven't been dried lately either. Now I'm tempted to wash every dish in the house again after seeing what has been hanging out in the dishwasher with them.

I found a pumpkin seed in the pump.
Followed everyone else's instructions, remove kick panel, 3 screws, then 1 more to detach the pump. Watch for water to leak out at that point. Obviously make sure you've unplugged the dishwater from power before starting.
And always take a backup first.

Dennis is spot on above. The clear / white box is some sort of level sensor however the design is very poor and it fills with crud now and again. 2nd time I have had to do this in the last couple of years.

The majority of flashing light problems are to do with the build up of sludge.

Clean all the filter and pump fittings in the bottom of the machine.

Remove the bottom section of the door (8 screws)and clean the bottom drain gutter thoroughly.

Under the machine from the front(tilt the machine backwards) remove the metal plates (3 screws) and check the plastic drain container. (If there is water, empty and clean it)

Next to the drain there is a white filter that has water tubes attached to it. Remove it (pull it out) remove the tubes and empty the contents as is often full of sludge which prevents the water pressure from turning on the pressure sensor valve to operate the heater element.

Sludge is the enemy, make sure you regularly clean the machine using a recommended product.

Like the previous reply said, it is very often the sump. A clear/white plastic box behind the kick plate and then behind another metal cover (3 screws). It fills up with greasy slime which I clean out with a skewer and hot water. I've needed to do this roughly every 4 years on my old global 300. Just a note, to replace it after cleaning, make sure the black O-ring is on the plastic sump box before reinserting it. It may still be in the recess that you pulled it out of. Reattach the small hose and push it in until the mating tab clicks home.

You probably need to clean the sump, a small plastic box which you can access by removing the kick plate and another panel behind it. This can be the problem if "Fast" is flashing.

The best case is the drain hose is blocked, or the pipe it is connected to.

Often there is something stuck in the pump impellor stopping it from pumping out. Worse case the drain pump itself is cactus. They are about $80 bucks plus fitting.
Seems to be a common problem for Electrolux machines.

According to the manual, this means that there is a blockage in the drain. I have the same issue and after cleaning some grotty bits from the internal filters, it was still acting up.

I found that giving the drainpipe a rapid series of pulls (looked kind of obscene really), the pump kicked in and drained.

I am now doing several loads with just water to see if I can get it to clear itself out.

I am having the same poblem and it is driving me mental

I Think This happens when the machine thinks either there isnt enough water pressure or the temperature isn't hot enough.
