After standing for more then a day especially on a backwards slope, the fuel seem to drain back out of the supply pipe preventing start. After repriming by using the priming bulb the engine starts and runs OK.a
Check the fuel filter housing carefully. The aluminium casting can crack which allows air into the system whilst the engine is not running.

Hi,
I don't know the car specifically, but you should have a non-return valve in the supply line. It may have an arrow on the side to show direction of flow (towards engine). If this is defective it can allow the fuel to drain back from the engine causing an air lock. Hence your constant priming. The fact that it happens only after the car has been stood means that your pump etc should be ok.
Cheers now
