Habana Custom 125 Starting?

Hi, I have a habana custom 125 which has been in storage for a few months. I am currently getting the battery recharged althought there was enough 'juice' to spark the spark plug..... I have tried kick starting the bike too but with no luck... I have paid countless money on a local mechanic over the last two years to solve a recurring starting problem.... does anyone have any experience with the electrical starter being a problem.... i think thats were the problem lies!! excuse the vagueness of the query but to be honest i am not much of a mechanic
