I have no heat on my Hotpoint Aquarious CTD00?

My CTD00 works but there is no heat. Is ther an element to change or something simple.

Take the backpanel off behind the drum (the sticking out bit) & there are two screws that attach the thermostat to this panel. Pull this out slightly & stick a safety pin in the hole, you should hear a click. The thermostat should've just tripped itself.

I have done this 3 times now & it works for me, the repair man showed me.
