Mend Hotpoint WMA31, WMA33 Washing Machine Repair Appliance

Use hardly-used Hotpoint WMA31 to fix knackered WMA33?

If I can get hold of a hardly-used Hotpoint WMA31, would I be able to swap over the fascia/electronics from my knackered WMA33 and effectively have a hardly-used WMA33?

Or is there more to it than that?
